
Quinn Henderson scored 18 points to lead the Panthers to what turned out to be a come-from-behind win that Parkside completely dominated in the second half. Results of Parkside’s quarterfinal match-up, scheduled for Monday evening, were not available at deadline.

The Panthers held a five point lead over the London school after one quarter, but by half-time Montcalm had battled back to take a 29-27 lead into the locker room.
But Parkside responded, taking the game back in the third quarter scoring 14 points of their own while allowing only three points from Montcalm to take a 41-32 lead.
The Dundas school’s team didn’t let up in the final quarter, adding 18 more points and holding Montcalm down once again to just four points. Overall, Parkside outscored their opponent 32-7 in the second half.
Parkside appeared to have no trouble winning their opening game Monday, with a 25-point victory over Sir Winston Churchill of Thunder Bay.
Quinn Henderson, with 13-points, and Kyle Giedraitis, with 11 points, led the Panthers to a 57-32 win in Windsor Monday afternoon.
Parkside ended the first quarter against 18th seed Churchill up just 20-15, but the Dundas school stretched that margin in the second quarter to take a 32-21 lead into halftime.
Parkside moved up to a 41-25 lead by the end of the third quarter before winning the final quarter to put the game away.
