Relay For Life: On Friday, June 19 at the new Ancaster Fairgrounds, residents participated in an unforgettable night — the second Ancaster Dundas Relay for Life, Canada’s major cancer fundraiser. Fifty teams of 10, many in costumes, pitched tents in Tent City and walked around the track all night, raising $125,000. Click here.
Buskerfest: The 12th annual Dundas International Buskerfest descended on the
streets of the Valley Town June 5-7 to create organized pandemonium,
uncontrollable laughter, non-stop chaos and absolute family fun. Click here.
Lobesterfest: Dundas’ two Rotary clubs teamed for one of their biggest fundraisers, the tasty Lobster and Rib fest at the community centre. Click here.

The home where two Dundas mayors once hung their hats will soon welcome a new family. After 143 years of ownership by ancestors of Thomas Wilson — Dundas’ 15th mayor — current owners Clare and Shirley Crozier are selling the historical and architectural gem at 36 Melville St. and moving to a ground-floor condo.

The Dundas Real McCoys are challenged each year to build a team of
hockey players that can persevere through a 28- game season, win a
best-of- seven series for the Ontario championship, then win a
round-robin tournament for the national championship.

Songs and excited chatter filled the air at Memorial Square Dec. 5 as the Dundas division of the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce hosted the Town of Dundas’s annual Christmas tree-lighting ceremony. Click here.
Dundas Holiday House Tour and Craft Sale
The 33rd annual Holiday House Tour and Craft Sale sponsored by St. James Anglican Church in Dundas took place this year on Dec. 6. It featured five homes in the Dundas area.
