Boys Fun: Tim Horton's Navy Blue faced off with White in Junior soccer play. Ben Suykens played an excellent defensive game, despite a sore ankle, and Phillip Ferris had an awesome breakaway.
Boys Squirt: Vanderwal Auto triumphed over McDonald's Restaurant in a game filled with exciting scoring opportunities. Both teams played with fantastic effort.
Girls Under 8 Allanholme Farms and Horn of Plenty won by default against Dairy Queen Dundas and Cattel, Eaton, & Chambers Funeral Directors, respectively.
Dufferin Construction topped Phoenix Fitness 10-1.
Taylor Day and Anne Field each scored three goals and Isabella O'Brien had a strong game.
Horn of Plenty was defeated 3-2 by Royal Mattress. Forward play by Emily Howell and Emily Veldhuis created great excitement. Jenna Potter and Vivienne Holmes helped keep the score low with their assertive defensive moves.
Boys Under 10: Silver, short players, automatically lost to Morris Law Group.
Girls Under 10: Forzani Group defeated Bozek Orthodontics 2-1 in a fast-paced game. The following night, Forzani Group lost 3-0 to Wayne Nichols Insurance Agency, thanks to goal-scorers Heather Nichols and Sydney Turpin. Forzani's Amy Bell made excellent saves, while Brooke Day never stopped hustling.
