The Dundas Cactus Festival was back on the streets of the Valley Town for the 33rd time last weekend.

The winners in the Cactus Festival Parade this year are as follows: Overall Best Float, Dundas Girls Softball, runner-up Dundas Calvin Christian. Overall Best Effort winner Dundas District Civitan and runner-up Merit Insurance. Best Effort By Local Business winner Dundas Animal Hospital and runner-up Hanes Corn Maze. Best Effort Children's Category winner St. Marks Cooperative Nursery School and runner-up Dundas School of Dance. Most Original Entry winner Dundas Red Hat Hooters and runner-up, St. John's Ambulance Therapy Dogs. Best Theme winner St. Paul's United Church and runner Up Rockton Fair
