Multiple markers help Silver crush Orange

Girls Under 6: Hickory Dickory Decks lost to Tim Hortons White 8-2. Jenna Rucchin scored two goals and Fawn Jacques was a fearless goalie. White's Elora Truax provided solid defence, with Maryama Turkstra and Ashleigh MacCormack scoring goals at the other end.
Multiple markers from Kelty McNab, Madeleine Mcgowan, Kristen Bird and Jessica Spano led Silver to a 10-1 win over Orange.
Solid goal-keeping was provided by Leah Waite, Madeleine Mcgowan, Sarah Peck and Maddy Barr. For Orange, Hannah Gillgrass and Grace Cumming had excellent runs to the net.
Boys Fun: In a game between Tim Hortons Red and Gold, Kieran Smith skillfully cleared the ball from danger and goalie Jacob Oldham made several key stops to keep Red in the game. Gold's Donavin Milloy was terrific in net while Owen Vandervelde was excellent on defence.
Alexander Gacesa's great goal and Joshua Zegarac's defensive skills gave Orange a slight edge over Silver.
White played to a hard-fought victory over Navy Blue. Mark Kezman and Logan Yates had strong performances, while Navy Blue had stellar goaltending by Marcus and great hustle by Benjamin Livesy.
Girls Under 8: Horn of Plenty earned a 2-1 victory against Ferretti Wellness Centre. Daniella Khayutin displayed skillful defending and Madeline Gillis scored the winning goal.
Royal Mattress beat Cattel, Eaton and Chambers Funeral Directors 3-1.
Dairy Queen got by Phoenix Fitness 3-1. Excellent effort from Andrea Bosco and Asia Middlemost, as well as Darya Soufian and Sophie Wright from the winning team.
Goals from Anne Field and Jessica Woodworth led Dufferin Construction to a 2-0 victory over Allanholme Farms. Julia Sylvester and Allyson Sober played with vigor.
Boys Squirt: McDonalds Restaurant beat Horn of Plenty 6-4, despite hard work by forward Geoff Kennedy and defender Mateo Larrazabal.
Vanderwal Auto triumphed 6-0 over Dundas Lions Club, thanks to defender Luke Roch and Conner Lowery. Dundas Lions Club's Graeme Wright made great saves in net and Devon Curtis had phenomenal energy.
Girls Under 10: In a tight game, Bozek Orthodontics defeated Wayne Nichols Insurance Agency 1-0.
Hickory Dickory Decks beat Tydan Specialty Blades 5-1. Solid defending by Robyn Northup and Laura Ashcroft, while Camille Gilles and Emily Deitrich skillfully passed and tackled for Tydan.
The Forzani Group lost 2-1 to Murray's Mobile. Beth Sharpley scored the only goal and Abbey Lewis was a stellar goalie.
Boys Atom: Dufferin Construction won 7-1 against Dr. Colin Day Family Dentist. Ryan Heslop and Robert Holford were goal-scorers for the winning team, while Colin Day's Kristopher Prosser blocked many shots in net and Noah Byers was outstanding on offence.
Holland Park Garden Gallery got by Morris Law Group 2-1. Call-ups Parsa Norouzian and Christian Kovacevic greatly contributed to the win. Shawn Hejno, Jared Young stood out for Morris Law, and Jake Davis was a strong goal-tender.
