NHL veteran Todd Harvey, who toiled in the big league with the Edmonton Oilers, Dallas Stars, New York Rangers and the San Jose Sharks, will be back with the Real McCoys again next season.
He will be joined Brett Legatt, who played well for the McCoys in the Renwick Cup and Allan Cup events this past spring.
"What can you say about a guy like Harv coming back he was a leader on the ice and in the room, as well as a premier player throughout the season" said GM Don Robertson. "Todd won't be able to play as much because he and Todd Hlushko have just opened the Hockey Loft in Cambridge, which is a hockey training center, but he'll be around when he is needed most."
Coach of the year in the MLH last season, Mann is back for another shot at a championship. The veteran coach enjoyed the run last year and guided the club to within an eyelash of a national championship.
"I'm excited to be back, and it looks like the group is rounding into shape again. We'll work to make this an even more exciting team than last year," said Mann .
Season tickets can be ordered on-line at realmccoys.ca
The home opener is Oct. 17 against the Orillia Tundras at 7:45 p.m., J.L. Grightmire Arena.
