
Girls Under 6: Tim Hortons White won 5-2 over Gold in Junior soccer action. Chelsey Clark was a strong defender and Jordan Hagger had excellent shots on net. Short-handed Gold was well represented by Rylee Green and Kaitlyn Widdup.
Although Margo Young and Hanna Maione scored for Jensen Windows, Hickory Dickory Decks recorded a 10-2 victory. Sophie Wilson got her first four goals of the season and Madeline Tarride had her first career goal.
Boys Squirt: Horn of Plenty slipped by Dundas Lions Club despite great ball control and goals from Zachary Ferris and Elliot Beer.
Derek Baiton hustled on offence while Conor Link was a powerful defender.
Girls Under 8: Dufferin Construction beat Horn of Plenty 2-0. Alanna Tees scored, and Taylor Day and Payton McNab had strong games.
Royal Mattress Mfg. Co. triumphed over Allanholme Farms 4-2. Super effort from Kaylie Outtrim, Madeline McHarg and Jennifer Gilchrist.
Phoenix Fitness lost 5-1 to Cattel, Eaton & Chambers.
Boys Under 10: Holland Park tied Dufferin Construction 2-2. Michael Orlando was an outstanding goaltender and Graeme Stewart had an all-around great game. Call-ups Geoffrey Kennedy and Simon Monteith stood out for Holland Park.
White won against Silver 5-1. Kevin McLean excelled on forward and midfield, and Nick Preston's ball control kept the action safely away from White's net.
Girls Under 10: Murray's Mobile Service topped Wayne Nichols Insurance Agency 6-0. Alison Bruder and Shivani Lohit showed excellent teamwork in pursuit of the ball.
Tydan Specialty Blades earned a 2-1 victory over Bozek Orthodontics. Taylor Draak and Reilly Kunc never stopped running, and goals by Alisa Eastman and Camille Gillis guaranteed the win. Madison Bigden put forth a commendable effort for Bozek Orthodontics and Anna Kvedaras scored the only goal.
