The Dundas Tennis Club is happy to announce the addition of a new coach. Marcela Mackesy of Courtmasters Tennis Professionals is joining the club and bringing with her a wealth of tennis coaching experience. She is a certified tennis instructor with Tennis Canada, as well as a personal training specialist and sports conditioning coach. Marcela has exciting new programs planned for both juniors and adults .

Congratulations to Ancaster Magic's Major Atom boys on their gold medal win at the OBAs in London. Yvonne Felix helps Sylvia, 22 months, create an art piece that will be included in the Translation Art Show. Youngsters with the Dundas Early Years Centre recently participated in a workshop to create tactile pieces of art for the event. Ms. Felix, a local artist and mother, is curating the exhibit. She is legally blind and devotes her leisure hours to volunteering with the CNIB and the Foundation for Fighting Blindness. Translation Art Show is scheduled for June 2008 at Arts Hamilton.
