
Artwork celebrates Niagara Escarpment

The Giant's Rib Discovery Centre celebrates the art of the natural and cultural heritage of the Niagara Escarpment by featuring a new local artist every month at the Dundas Valley Trail Centre at the Dundas Valley Conservation Area, 650 Governor’s Rd., Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a. m. to 3:30 p. m. Park entrance is $2 per person, or a maximum $5 per car. No admission fee for children under 12.
The month of November features the work of Guennadi Kalinine. Mr. Kalinine is an artist, restorer and teacher with extensive experience in art restoration. He works in many styles of traditional oil and tempera painting, creating landscapes and portraits, including icon painting based on the ancient techniques and traditions of Eastern Europe and Russia.
